I am #2 who booked 8/31 hoop dee doo?!!!

I just made my reservation for HDD and was told that I was #2 who booked the 7:15 seating for 8/31. I always hear how popular this show is. Being 6 months out and #2, is WDW that slow now? I was assured we will have great tables of course

I am not sure how they assign tables... but I booked Hoop Dee Doo the day before the show with the concierge at AKL where I was staying... it was a last minute decision...

Anyway... we were placed at a table dead centre stage/front... our table was actually touching the stage.

I asked the hostess who seated us why we got such a great table booking so late? and she said it indicated VIP on the list of guests... (unless she was just making a joke and didn't really mean it?)

Wow - I had no idea and never requested or even imagined such a great spot..booking so late.

It was a wonderful/fun show - the food was pretty good, great salad, bread and butter, ribs, chicken, corn and strawberry shortcake for dessert.

The room is like a old fashioned westerrn dance hall/show type room with a main floor and a U shaped balcony section... I think you would get a good view from everywhere except maybe the very very back of the room...

enjoy the show... lots or corny jokes and gags... my daughter loved it. We were there in August too... and it was a beautiful evening.. the kids enjoyed seeing the animals at the petting zoo prior to the show...

HI,
I had the same seat... so nice! We booked early, but did so through GF concierge. Maybe that had something to do with it. We were celebrating our honeymoon so it may have been some disney magic.
