:welcome::welcome:

Hello Hello!! Welcome to my very first attempt at a PTR. You may be wondering about my title. Well, I have been a long time lurker, or creepa as I like to call it, of TRs. I love to read about everyone's trips. I just never got into PTRs. Dont get me wrong, I love the process of planning a Disney trip, its my favorite thing to do, but I like to get right to the action.

BUT...I have had a change of heart, and by "change of heart" I mean that I'm SUPER excited because it has been well over a year since my last trip and I thought I would have to wait longer because our honeymoon almost didn't happen.

I know what you must be thinking...How can you not have a honeymoon?!? Well, we all know how expensive weddings can be. Since my fiance and I are paying for it, a honeymoon was just not in our budget. But with a few financial adjustments and some really tight budgeting, we were able to figure it out and now I get to have a honeymoon!! :woohoo:

The main reason why I am SUPER excited is because today is the day that my fiance can put in for the days off at his work. They only let you apply for the time off six months in advance. So, we havent booked the trip yet or made any ADRs, but as soon as he gets the days approved, I will be at my laptop booking our vacation faster than you can say "Por favor manténganse alejado de las puertas." :yay:

SO...with all my rambling out of the way, lets get this show on the road!!

I really hope you enjoy this PTR and stick around for my crazy antics. I am one the most indecisive people you will meet, so this aught to be interesting. ;)

Me: Danielle. I'm a 23 insurance agent here in the lovely state of Massachusetts. I am the Disney planner of the family. I have loved Disney for as long as I can remember. I have been going to WDW since I was very little. It wasn't until 2009 when my obsession went into full gear when I was able to plan my first Disney vacation on my own. Ever since then, I have been reading anything and everything I can to learn more about the happiest place on earth.

Favorite Park: Magic Kingdom (Epcot is a VERY close second)
Favorite Ride: Haunted Mansion
Favorite Character: Mickey Mouse
Favorite Classic Movie: Alice in Wonderland
Favorite Pixar Movie: Wall-E

Cory, 24, my fiance and best friend. We are high school sweethearts and I cannot wait to finally be able to call him my husband :lovestruc He tolerates my obsession and allows me to fill our apartment with snowglobes, vinylmation, art and any other Disney decoration I can get my hands on. Its probably not wise to reveal his job, so lets just say that he is a government employee.

Favorite Park: Epcot
Favorite Ride: Expedition Everest
Favorite Character: Gaston
Favorite Classic Movie: Hercules
Favorite Pixar Movie: Up

The is Tinkerbell AKA The Bink. My baby. I wish she could go, but sadly she isn't coming with us to WDW, but she is just to cute not to share. She is definitely the princess of the house.

If she could answer, I'm sure her favorites would be:
Favorite Park: Animal Kingdom
Favorite Ride: IASW
Favorite Character: Cinderella
Favorite Classic Movie: Lady and the Tramp
Favorite Pixar movie: Toy Story 2

Alright...I refuse to let the lack of followers stop me from doing this PTR. Even if its only me in here, I will continue to update :sad1:

With that being said, I am still waiting for my fiance to get the OK from his work about the days off. He said he should know by the 14th. So I will be holding my breath until then :scared:

Joining in! We're going down on October 30th, our first time for F&W. Can't wait to hear about more of your plans.

As far as snacks go, here are a few more to add to your list:
Jalapeno cream cheese pretzel (AK)
Cinnamon sugar pecans (Epcot and AK)
Chocolate mousse and napoleon (France Pavillion)
Magic cookie bar (POR)

I would love to read about your planning! And congrats on your upcoming wedding.

I sucked my DH into my Disney obsession too. He thought he wouldn't like it.....silly fool! We went on our first trip in 2008. We got married in Oct. 2010 and had our Disneymoon in Nov. 2010. Now we are going again this fall with my parents and brother.

Good luck with your planning and keep the posts coming! :goodvibes

:welcome: Thank you for joining in!! Silly men, thinking they can marry DISers and not get sucked in  That's awesome that you are going this fall with your family. The fall is a great time to go :)

ADR...its amazing how 3 simple letters can make someone so happy :)

The ADRs are made and there are quite a few. I am REALLY hoping that the free dining plan gets extended to October, if not, I will have to cancel a few of these. I have thought about buying it if it isn’t extended, but I will have to cross that bridge when I get there.

Here is what I got...

Tuesday 10/09 – Arrival Day

Dinner at Ohana. I have only done the character breakfast here, but the pictures I have seen of the dinner food looks fabulous!

Dinner at Coral Reef. Another first

Thursday 10/11

Lunch at Via Napoli. We ate here last time we went, which was December 2010, and loved it! The pizza is incredible.

Dinner at Teppan Edo. We also ate here on our last trip. It was fantastic. My fiance and I are big fans of the Japanese culture, so this place is a must.

Friday 10/12

Dinner at Raglan Road. This place has always hit or miss with us. The first time we went I wasn't crazy about my food and Cory loved his. The second time he didn’t like his food and I loved mine. So, why go back? Well, I just love the atmosphere and the entertainment. Also, I'm Irish, so I don’t have a choice

Saturday 10/13

Lunch at 50's Prime Time Cafe. We haven’t been here in a while and I loved it the last time we ate there. Plus, who doesn’t love comfort food?

Sunday 10/14

Dinner at the Liberty Tree Tavern. We've eaten here before and the food is fantastic.

Monday 10/15

This is our Universal Studios day. I know, blasphemy, but we are huge Harry Potter fans, so we need to hit up WWoHP. I'm not sure where we will be eating, I'm leaning towards Margaritville for dinner, but we will have to wait and see.

Tuesday 10/16

Dinner at La Hacienda de San Angel. We have never eaten here before, but I've read good things.

Wednesday 10/17

Breakfast at Kona. I need to get my hands on some Tonga Toast, I've never had it before

Dinner at the Hoop-de-Doo Musical Revue. I am sooooo excited about this! I have never seen it and it looks like a lot of fun! :yay:

Thursday 10/18

Dinner at Le Cellier. I think it goes without saying that this place is amazing. I am really looking forward to this. :woohoo:

Friday 10/19

Dinner at Sci-Fi Dine-in Theatre. I have always been intrigued by this place, but have never eaten here. It's tradition for us to watch Fantasmic! on our last night, so I figured we can give it a try since we will be at Hollywood Studios.

Saturday 10/20 – Departure day

No ADRs for this day. I figured we could take it slow this day. Plus, we haven’t booked our flights yet, so I don’t know what time we will be leaving.

So, those are my ADRs. I know, there are a lot, but if we can get the free dining plan, why not use it? Besides, calories don’t count when your on vacation ::yes::
