I almost hate to ask this question...

As I was leaving for work this morning, DH was watching the news and a headline flashed that caught my attention about Marines in Iraq being killed? I'm really HOPING that I didn't catch it fully and that all of your (our) guys are ok....

If anyone else saw this can you please clarify?

I heard last night that 2 Marines were killed in an accident in Iraq yesterday(not enemy related), and I also heard a couple of Army soldiers died in Iraq in the last week(can't remember how). I also think an Air Force Officer died in the last couple of days. Accidents will unfortunately continue to happen with the military during war and peacekeeping and during training.

I heard that some marines were killed yesterday when they were examining an Iraqi rocket propelled granade. It was an accident and not due to enemy fire. As far as I am aware these were our most recent casualties. It's just so sad.

Thanks ladies, that must be what I caught. I hope and prayer that it wasn't any of "our" guys. It is terrible it has to be any but as you say that risk goes with the job and we can hope, pray, and love them.
