We just added on at AKV!! I could not pass up the incentives at Doorway to Dreams! Now can someone tell me how to upload the AKV image to my signature???

Right click on the AKV signature below. Click properties. Copy the URL. Go to User CP at the top left of your DIS screen. Click edit signature. Paste and you're set!

I got the $8 per point off, 100 bonus points and 2 annual passes!! That was with a 110 add on. Plus my sister-in-law bought!! She bought 160 and got the same incentives except she received 160 bonus points. Plus the folks at the Doorway to dreams were awesome! The manager was fantastic. I was amazed at how they had the place set up. I felt like I was in Disney.

We just bought at AKV at Doorway to Dreams as well! I'm so excited. We bought 200 pts, got a $500 gift card for Disney (or could have had the 2 annual passes), got $8 off per point, and got 270 bonus/developer points. Plus she gave us 3 bags of free goodies like pens and mickey ears, and mugs, etc.

Congratulations -- The Doorway to Dreams CM were very nice and pleasant during our visit. They inspired us to add on at SSR even though the AKL models were beautiful.

Thanks for the info. Is the Doorway to Dreams, a Disney store? If so, or even if not, how does it rate with such incentives? Shouldn't they be available to all members? I don't mean to denigrate Schaumburg, but why there and not, say, NYC, or Meriden, CT?

It is not a Disney Store but a Disney Vacation Club store. It has models of a studio and 1 bedroom. Pretty big actually. It is the only one that is not in Disney World and Disney Land. The reason I am told they chose Chicago is because there are more DVC owners from Chicago metro area than anywhere else in the US. If this is a success, they will be opening up a few more in other states.
