I-95 mess today...

OMG how many other DISers were stick on I-95 today?? What a crazy mess. Took us 12 hours to get to Charlotte from WDW today. Was going to drive straight through, but had to stop.

I just talked to my parents who were stuck in it too. She said it's all the "snowbirds" heading north - their leases were up on the 31st & they are all leaving FL to come home for Easter. She said it was the mass exodus of senior citizens!

Well that is a good heads up to remember for driving folks planning, , Next year. I wonder if that is what it will be in Sept Labor Day weekend too.

Exactly why we fly, not to mention air travel is a lot less money than driving. Safer too, considering all the seniors are headed home....
