I just booked cape may for tomorrow night
And was asked for a CC to hold the reservation
It says it won’t be charged unless we don’t cancel or show
So I’m assuming we can use a gift card to actually pay when we’re there

Yep, it's just to hold the reservation. You can pay however you want.

Yes, the CC you put down is not kept to pay your bill, just in case of no show. You can pay with your GC at your meal.
