Hypothetical situation; could you do this?

Christmas trip aside, we're starting to gear up for an extended family trip in June of '08. 9 adults, 2 toddlers, hopefully. We're going to use DVC points to put everyone up. What if all of our party doesn't want to stay at the same resort? Can you make 2 ressies at separate locations for the same time? I would assume a member would have to be present and stay at each site.

Has anyone done this? I doubt this will happen; we'll all wind up in the same place but it did get me to thinking.....

As long as there is at least one adult in each room, you can book wherever you wish, as long as you have enough points.

As a member you can only book your home resort at 11 months. So if you own OKW, you can start booking in July fo your 08 trip. However, if some of your group wants to stay at SSR, you'll have to wait till the 7 month window to book at SSR.

If you own at 5 resorts you can make reservations at five resorts for the exact same time. You will not have to have an owner in the room at all. What you will need is the name and address of everyone in the room and their phone numbers. You'll also need the ages of all the kids in the room. If you want to add the Disney Dining Plan you would add that along with anyone who wanted to use the Magical Express Bus Service.

Our first DVC trip was with 14 of our nearest and dearest. 10 stayed at SSR and 4 stayed at OKW. We had no problem just make sure you let them know that your group is together. I booked OKW because we couldn't get 2 more rooms at SSR (that was when SSR was first being built) only Congress Park was open. They were at opposite ends of the resort.

Why?? do you have to let them know your group is together. Did you do the Magic Gatherings thing?
