Hypothetical Question about room size and guests

Hello I had a hypothetical question. I know some studios are only set up with a party size of 4, but what if someone was to book 2 studios and slept 5 in one studio and 2 in the other studio? They would then be under the limit of 8 total guests in the studios. Would this be acceptable or not?

Yeah, they don't look at it that way. If the room has a hard limit of 4, you can't have 5.
I think accommodations can be made for infants.

DVC doesn't do bed checks.

That said, I wouldn't want to sleep 5 in a studio meant for four unless one was an infant who could sleep in the portable crib. Some of the studios are rather small and some have very little storage. YMMV.

If the studio only sleeps four, there are only four sleeping spaces. If you have a bed in the other studio for that person to sleep on, why would they want to sleep on the floor? Disney will not provide any rollaway or air bed in this case. Plus some studios are just too darned tiny for five, like CCV and BLT. BLT is nearly too small for four unless two of the four are tiny kids.

But no matter how you look at it, you aren't booking a two bedroom. You have two individual reservations for a studio that only sleeps four. Not one reservation for eight people.
