Hypothetical PIN question

Okay, here's my thought process and I'm not sure i'm right or not.

If we have a PIN associated with our address/names/etc, we can have it applied to our existing reservation. Obviously assuming the dates are within the right timeframe. If, after we get it applied, we decide to add a day at the beginning, end, or both based on flight schedules and costs, will the PIN still be able to be applied to those new dates? Assuming, of course, the dates still fall within the valid timeframe.

The reason I ask, we are waiting on airfare and schedules to come out for October, I want to change my resort, and if I have a PIN (I've not called yet) have it applied...but if the airfare and schedules are such that going in a day earlier, leaving a day later, or both are better $$ wise, I would want to add day(s) to the trip.

Thoughts, experiences?

As long as you rebook your dates before the PIN expiration it shouldn't be an issue. I'd suggest calling before Monday when the lines get bogged down with the new offer they are releasing

Thanks! That's what I figured would be the case.

This is, of course, a big IF we have a PIN. I don't necessarily need to call Monday though....our trip isn't until October, I've still got time. I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with adding days to a trip if they used a PIN.

Yes, you can add nights later on, provided they are available under the promo/PIN. Since it's easier to cancel than it is to add on, my suggestion is to book the maximum number of nights you think you might need from the beginning and go from there. Good luck.
