Hyperion Theater - Frozen

I am a little confused. I keep hearing things about Hyperion now running on a fast pass like system for Frozen. Is this true? If so where do I get my tickets?

They used FP when it opened but that ended late last year.

We walked in Sunday just 15 minutes before the show. I loved Aladdin and I did not want to like Frozen...but I did. It is a really well done show.

So my understanding is now you just line up before the show as per Aladdin. Is this correct?

I was looking into the dining package for our upcoming trip, but I think the funds will be better spent on WOC dining.

No fastpasses for Frozen anymore, just standby. They open the doors to the courtyard about an hour before the show.

I seen the Frozen show on You Tube and I am really on the fence about it. It's definitely not Aladdin which I liked better, but I think if I were there and seen Frozen live it may change my mind. You get the vibe being there and many times camera's dont pick up the visual effects. I'm still hopeful.

I am not a Frozen fan by any stretch of the imagination and I can honestly say I love it. The talent level in the show is absolutely amazing. I have paid for the dining VIP package twice now and its not for the food! If you have a small group and the park is not insanely crowded and you are not picky about seats, I think the hype has died down enough now that you could walk up 15 minutes before the show and get seated.

I'm really bad at details like that. The show seemed to be the same but I could have easily missed a small change. I'll ask my wife this evening, she's the details person.

There are definitely changes, but nothing too major. It doesn't really shorten the show at all. They are really only noticeable if you have seen the show multiple times. One of the bigger ones is that after For the First time in Forever reprise a huge set of doors comes in so that they can do the transition into the trolls more easily. Mostly the changes are to projections to make them look better (which they do). Some added/cut lines and little changes to the music. They did cut the mourning/funeral scene.

We saw the show yesterday at 3 and were lined up about 45 minutes in advance. We got a pretty good seat.

I wasn't really a huge fan. I enjoyed it well enough once but wouldn't see it again.

Olaf said maybe a handful of his funny lines from the movie and really didn't bring the humor he should have.

Sven was weird, his back legs hover off the ground and just look odd.

The actress playing Anna for our show came off as really annoying to me.

I liked a few parts of it like the Let it Go song with the giant snowflake and the stairs. I liked the sled chase scene and everyone falling down the hill.

I watched most of it on you tube and was not impressed. I probably would not have bothered going to see it if DD had not wanted to see it. At least for me, it was much more impressive live.
