Ok... as a new listener/reader I'm confused - why does the DIS more or less officially endorse this product? Is there a financial interest or is it simply that they love cold drinks? Lol As far as I can tell there aren't any DIS-logo ones for sale online yet, just at the welcome center?

There is no financial interest.

It's just a great product and a great company.

With each flask you buy, you are allowed to give 5% of the price to a charity of your choice. GKTW is one of the charities.

This started as just us sharing a product we think really works and works well.

Currently, the only place to purchase a Dis Hydroflask is at the Welcome Center.

I have been trying to purchase a couple for the past 30 minutes and once i enter my info at the check out screen it won't continue.

Update: I was able to use my iPhone to make my purchase. For some reason my browser on my computer wouldn't let me.So if anyone else is having issues try that.

Just bought a 64oz. one for DH. He thought the original price tag was absurd, but at 50% off, he'll be thrilled! I also got sport caps for the DIS ones I obtained on PCC 3.0 and a 21 oz. bottle for my dad. All for the same price I paid for the 2 DIS flasks I bought at the Welcome Center. Could be the best hundred bucks I've spent this summer!

LOVE my hydro flask! but, a word of caution on the sports cap, I had ordered several of them for Christmas gifts last year, and they all leak. when I called HF they said they only leak if you don't keep them upright . It leaked coffee on my macbook pro....755.00 in repairs, long story,but,I was lucky enough that Apple stepped up and paid that repair. So I will buy and recommend the Flask to everyone that will listen to me, but, not the cap. hope that helps someone else not ruin something important.
