Hydro Flask Help

Hey all, I recently got myself a hydro flask and absolutely love it . But I need your help with something? What kind of bottle brush do you use on the 24 oz narrow neck hydro flask? I haven't been able to find any brushes long enough to use. Thanks for your help!

i just use really hot h2o, and soap. shake it up a couple of times, then rinse. depending on what i had in my hydro flask, i may let the soap and hot water sit in the flask over night.

I do the same thing... My local HydroFlask rep also said that rinsing it w/ vinegar will work, but I haven't tried it...

I used Sigg bottles before I purchased the Hydroflask, and this is what I bought from Sigg to clean them:

Used to have to clean "retail" coffee pots when I was much younger.

We'd swish crushed ice (cubes), lemon juice and salt around for a few seconds..

Worked great.

Baking soda and boiling water do a great job floating off coffee residue. That's what I use for my ss coffee pot. I just got my hydroflask and haven't used it yet.

I just received my 18 oz narrow mouth Hydro Flask from Amazon and now want to purchase another as a gift. I would also like to purchase the sport caps for them to make them easier to use, but when I go to the HF website, I am not able to order the caps because they are "out of stock". I don't understand why I cannot still place an order for them to be delivered when in stock unless they are being discontinued or having trouble getting them manufactured. Has anyone else had this problem?

Look in the baby bottle section. I have been using my Avent bottle brush I used for my son's bottles. I don't know if it's really necessary but it does work well.

Thanks for your response! That's what I figured may be going on, but IMHO it is not a reason to stop taking the orders. They could post a notice with an estimate as to when they may ship the product in the order in which the orders were received. In this way, people would not have to keep checking back to see if they are in stock. Also, they could get a better estimate of how much stock they will need. It would be nice if they would sell a "model" with the sports cap in addition to the standard cap. I think most folks would want both anyway.

Are Hydroflasks dishwasher friendly?
If you have one - and if you've used it for tea/coffee - can you still use it for cold water - or does it still taste like tea/coffee? I haven't found a good travel mug yet, it would be great to have one that would serve both as a travel mug and a cold water bottle. thanks!

I use mine for all sorts of beverages from hot coffee/tea to iced tea to smoothies and water. I usually soak it in hot soapy water for a little while. Never had the taste of a previous beverage when using it for water.

Though I'd let everyone know, I got my narrow mouth sports caps delivered today. I love them. Got the wide mouth earlier this week. Glad they are back in stock.

Thanks for letting us know. I tried to order a couple tonight. They show up on the website, but when I submitted my order, I got an "internal server error" and could not complete the transaction.
