Know with backpacks, security takes an extra minute or so, but are there any other drawbacks to having backpacks? We like to use hydration packs when ever we visit amusement parks. Water, snacks, jacket, etc. we pack for the day. There from opening to closing. Going week before Easter.

No...it shouldn't be a problem.

There are rides that don't allow you to take bags on them, so you'll have to store the backpack in free lockers that are provided. If the backpack is too big, you'll have to do a "bag swap", where your party will have to take turns holding the bag and riding.

What's considered "too big"? Is there a place I can find measurements? Not planning on bringing that much, but just in case....

if the seat restraint can't be closed due to the backpack, then you wouldn't be able to wear it while on the ride.

There's no place to fine measurements, but I know standard school backpacks are fine. If it has wheels or looks like you're about to go on a camping trip, it may not fit.
