We have a 21 ft hybrid camper. It does have two canvas bunkends. Do you think we could get away with booking a tent/popup site? The time we want this is all that is available. We don't have to have sewage. Tell me what you think. Thanks so very much for your opinion!;)

Ive heard that the 2000 loop has had regular campers in it before...if you book it and pay for it...I cant imagine them not allowing you to have it, especially since they are booked in every other category!!! But thats just my opinion, I wouldnt trust me!!

Christy, I've seen quite a few hybrids in 2000 loop. My advice just to not raise a question is go to the overflow lot and walk in to check in. Also do the online check in to help out. Once you're hooked up I doubt they will say a word. I also have seen the Hi Lo campers in these loops as well. Good luck. Thanks for the well wishes with Becky. I missed you on FB.

I decided to book it to make sure that I have it, and then when we are there in two weeks I will ask someone to look at our set up and see if we can make it work for Christmas, when I have the tent/popup site booked. As long as I have five days notice I can always get my deposit back, right??

Ok, Donnie...didn't think about that. Do online check in, park in overflow, and then go inside to check in. Set up and stay under the radar.......hummmm, sounds like a great idea!! Thanks!

We are going to try partial hook up loop 2000 for the first time. We have a class b motorhome (van camper) and noticed on past visits that a few motorhomes like ours frequent 1500 or 2000. We use the comfort stations so usually don't fill our holding tanks during a week long stay so it makes sense to save a couple of bucks and try it. One question we have...does 2000 have cable hookups?

The fun part about this question is that my ressies are for 12/21/10 thru 12/28/10.

We are going to spend Christmas at Disney Fort Wilderness! My eight yr old is so excited! :cool1:

Yep, when we were there last September, I saw several hybrids and a couple Hi Lo or Trail Manors in the 2000 loop. I'm not saying it's "legal", just saying I saw it.

Hmmfff....What? Im NOT jealous!!!! Im not!!!!

I am still trying to fit the cruise in my budget! Trying like heck!! pirate:

I know what you mean girl! We technically have the money right now, but about 6 weeks ago, we cut our income by nearly half. With me being the worrier that I am, I hate to pay for something that is not a necessity and won't be enjoyed for another 17 months. We may really NEED that money between now and then. Maybe, I'm being too cautious? But, if our financial situation changes (for the better), I'll be booking as fast I can get to the computer.:thumbsup2

It's 'legal' for any type of camper to be in the partial hookup sites as long as the following conditions are met:
1. Your unit fits.
2. You don't dump gray or black water on the ground.

Many times units with sewage hookups stay on 1500 or 2000 but they use the comfort stations instead of their hookups. Folks do this to save money or if full hookups happen to not be available.

If you do need to dump, as noted on other threads, you may call the front desk to locate an available full hookup site to use temporarily for dumping purposes.

I've seen hybrids in the 2000 loop before, so I'd definitely reserve the partial hookup site. But if you want full hookups, keep trying. There will be people who cancel their Christmas ressies - lots of people book them way in advance and then realize as the time gets closer that they won't be able to make it. I unfortunately had to do that this past Christmas when DH had to work.

And why would (or should) you be?

Because I live in a fantasy world and its setting is Fort Wilderness......I just wanna live there and be on BUMcation for the rest of my lazy days!!! Is that wrong? Is it REALLY so wrong to never want to work again and live in the coolest place on earth? Is there REEALLY such a thing as TOO MUCH OF A GOOD THING? Yeah....probably...but I STILL WANT it like that!!!:sad2: I never get what I want....wah wah wah:headache:

Heck no there's nothing wrong with it! Oh the things I could accomplish if I could only stop day dreaming about the Fort.:cloud9: I don't even own a camper yet, but it doesn't keep me from dreaming. I'm just gonna whine along with ya Rog. Life ain't fair.:rolleyes1
