Have any Disney fans stayed here? I've checked the reviews at Travel Advisor, but I wanted to hear from Disney fans and what they think of this place. All the Disney hotels were booked for my dates.

I stayed there for 4 nights in May 2003, thanks to Priceline. I thought it was a great hotel for the money, and I'd be happy to stay there again.

I stayed there in Sept. 2003, also thanks to Priceline, and I thought it was great. We got it for $44 plus fees and $12 for parking, which still came out less than what we would've paid for HoJo. Location was good, room was good, and the shuttle to DL was very convenient.

We loved it. WE did priceline 3 times and upgraded to a kid's suite each time (for $25 to $35 extra - but way worth it considering the low priceline rate!!!)

It is accross from target, they have a shuttle (park is about 1 mile away)

It was comfy.

Can anyone confirm if the South Tower has been completely remodeled yet? When we stayed there in 2002? The rooms in the South Tower were horribly dirty and run down. I have not used Priceline for this area again because of this issue.

The hotels website mentions the "newly renovated rooms in the South Tower". So I would assume so but I guess I should call and find out since I am staying there next week.

Thanks everyone for your responses.
Azul, I'll be there the week after you...if you get to go online, let me know what you think of the South Tower.

We love this hotel! We won it on Priceline numerous times and always upgraded to their kids suite-which is great! I believe they are done remodeling their standard rooms, which would be great because they were not previously that nice-old mostly. I'm sure you could call the hotel to verify that if you are getting a standard room. I think you will like the hotel, though. There's a Red Robin, Outback, Joe's Crab Shack & Target within walking distance. They have a shuttle, but we prefer to drive to the parks. :)

Thanks JenCav5. The Target is a good place for water. The only Red Robin in our city was closed years ago so I may want to go there once for old times sake.

We stayed there once via priceline. In my opinion... it was NOT Hyatt quality. The rooms we were in was pretty dark, and we arrived at 10pm at night. There was no place around to get food! Room service had stopped, the onsite dining areas were closed, the restaurants within walking distance had all stopped serving....real bummer for us!

The Red Robin there is really good. We have tried others and were not impressed. I don't know if it's because of the location or what, but we love to go to that one when we're in town-their milkshakes are great!

Also, just a note, this is a 3* Hyatt, not a 4*. We have also stayed at a 4* Hyatt in San Diego and, yes, this one definately does not compare to that one! I'm guessing that maybe the previous poster had a standard room before they renovated-those rooms were not that nice and they were dark-we stayed in one once. The hotel has renovated, though, and hopefully they fixed the problems with the standard rooms! I still think you will be happy with this hotel. :)

We stayed there in August for 1 night in the South Tower. The room was very, very nice. We had adjoining rooms that we got using our Hyatt Points. Great value.

I thought it was pretty decent, until my husband started pointing things out to me. But overall is was clean and it served its purpose. We did get a great price through priceline. I wouldn't mind staying there again. Parking is pretty expensive though $16 valet or $14 self-park.

We stayed in July also with a priceline rate. The room was a little small for a 3* but for the price I was in heaven. The pillow top mattress was :cloud9: wonderful. There is also a laundramat across the street.
