Hyatt Regency Grand cypress

Hi all,

Has any one stayed at the above hotel? I managed to book one night ( my dw birthday) for just £39 on price line. it looks really nice on the web site but is it any good. What are the restauraunts like there as well?

£39 a night is an incredible price for HRGC - you won't be disappointed. We had intended to stay there in January, but ended up getting a great deal at the new Ritz Carlton. We did go for a scoot around though, just to see what we were missing! It is starting to look a teensy bit dated, but that's being <i>very</i> picky and probably had a lot to do with coming straight from the brand new RC.

I haven't eaten at any of the restaurants, but they all get good reviews. La Coquina seems to have closed for all but Sunday brunch (for which it receives high praise). We were also tempted by the Black Swan which is out on the golf course, but didn't quite get around to it.
