I just won this resort thru priceline for $50 a night for our september stay, I couldn't belive it!! The cheapest on the website was about $250 a night, saving over $1100 if we had booked thru their site (which we wouldn't have done)

Anyway, i just wanted to know if all the ameinities like the boats and horse riding and the pitch and putt gold course is included. And does anyone know how good the shuttles were and what the schedule is??

Thanks

$50 a night????!!!!! That's unbelievable!!!

Congrats to you!!! It's a great resort.

when are you going....

I may have to revisit Pricline.

this is the best deal I have seen

Still can't believe this price! Oh my goodness I may have to make another trip before my scheduled trip, LOL!

I just checked again and it was $348 including taxes for 6 nights, cheapest through the website is $1484 + tax!

I love Priceline, especially when something like that happens. Doesn't make you want to bid on someplace else even when you have no place else to go? :)

Wow! That is great. We were looking at that hotel for a future stay. Isn't that the one that has horse riding?

What happened to the OP's post on bidding for travel? Did Sheryl remove it???

i had put the info up on betterbidding and then bidding for travel. next time i tried to access bidding for travel i had been blocked

I have had the pleasure of staying at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress/Orlando twice recently. This place is *better* than you think :teeth: . The $13 resort fee includes the following:
"Executive" golf course(This is not a "kiddy"/putt-putt type of course.), bikes, surrey bikes, canoes, kayaks, sailboats, extensive jogging trails, health club(This place is really nice & has full facilities - weights/machines/showers/saunas), children's activities, free self-parking, in-room coffee-maker
It does *not* include:
horseback riding, use of the championship(Jack Nicklaus designed one!) golf courses, health club massages, valet parking
I *think* the fee includes... newspaper, complimentary refrigerator, Internet access
If you aren't a member of the Hyatt Gold Passport(frequent stay program), look into enrolling. You might get some extra perks for doing so :) .

hope that helps,
agnes!

Well this all sounds good. Does anyone know if the resort fee is included in price lines extra fees or is that to be paid at the hotel?
I just checked on another website and it says they are redesining the atrium lighting system in their lobby from 1st June - 16th september, which could be why they are offereing very low rates. But i don't really mind about that, for the price we paid, plus i doubt we'll be in the lobby for long periods of time!

:)

Resort fees have to be paid at the hotel. I hope you have a great trip. You got a great deal!

Hi, this may sound like a weird question, but do all rooms open up onto the atrium? i thought that they did, but by looking at pics of the outside of the resort, it looks like there are about of wings to it

:earsboy:

I was there last October. Most of the rooms don't open up to the atrium, they are tucked away into hallways/wings. I can't remember if I even say any rooms even open up to the atrium for that matter, because when you ride up the elevator, you get off on one long hallway/walkway (which lined by the ivy covered walls and general viewing windows) and you have to turn into a hallway to get to your room.
