Hi all! Making our way to DL in a couple weeks. We got a great deal at Hyatt Place... which is about half-a-mile farther away then we typically stay

For those that have been, post-Covid, what options do we have getting to/from the parks? I imagine that we’ll walk in the morning... but it might be a looooong walk at the end of the day!

Please share your thoughts, experiences, tips, etc! TIA :-)

So we stayed at the Hyatt Place 4 years ago (we're big Hyatt people) as well as the Regency and the Hyatt House. When we stayed at the Hyatt Place we thought no problem on the distance, we're in great shape and it's no big deal! Walking there wasnt as bad but the dreaded walk back after the first day of doing 10 miles in the parks was brutal. We ended up just taking Ubers each night back. Super cheap and well worth the money. We now stay at Hyatt House, for whatever reason the distance is much more doable. I would stay at the Regency over the Hyatt Place if it was me. Just my two cents worth! Have fun!

https://disneyland.disney.go.com/guest-services/parking/According to this link, the buses are running to and from the Toy Story parking lot which gets you a lot closer to Hyatt House. They don’t mention a schedule but pre Covid anyone could use those buses whether or not they parked there and they ran throughout the day. Hopefully someone with recent experience can confirm the current situation.
Otherwise when staying further away, I’ve just ordered a rideshare from the Harbour entrance or DLH (when it’s open) if I’m at that end of DD when I’m leaving. If Harbour looks too crowded, I’ve just ordered the pickup from one of the hotels across the street, usually Park Vue Inn as it’s an open parking lot so easier for the rideshare driver to navigate.

I've stayed at the Homewood across the street from the Hyatt Place several times and the aforementioned option of taking the Toy Story busses is a good suggestion. Toy Story just reopened and at least one person has confirmed being able to walk in the entrance of the lot from Katella (which you didn't used to be able to do) so hopefully you can still walk in (or out) from Harbor too.
