Hello everybody. As our cruise date inches closer, I'm trying to put a few last minute details together. Can anyone tell me how I go about booking transfers with Disney if I have booked my cruise on points? We plan to stay at the Hyatt the night before we sail and I thought I read a post that stated that you can purchase the transfers at the Hyatt. Can anyone confirm this? Should I just call the DVC member number and book through them? I just want to make sure we have transfers to and from the port as this seems cheaper than booking a towncar service for 2 people.

Thanks in advance.

I agree that using the DCL transfers is the easiest/cheapest (that is, the best combination of easy and cheap) way to go for two people. I'm not familiar with DVC, so I'm not sure how it would differ, but I would think that you could contact DCL directly and ask to add the transfers to your reservation. I believe they cost $49/pp round trip.

I have never heard that you are able to purchase the transfers at the Hyatt, but you may be able to purchase them on the morning of the cruise while the DCL cast memebers are checking people in for the bus. I would try to have them arranged ahead of time to be sure.

I would call either DVC or DCL directly - probably DVC since that is who your reservations is through - and make sure those are added to your overall reservation. Also, if you didn't book the Hyatt through them make sure they know.

In June they CMs had a list showing everyone that was supposed to be checking in for the bus. I know when of the DISers that sailed with us is DVC - will email her about this thread. She may have more specific info.

Hi all ~

I'm one of those who uses points to cruise (just my son & I; easier for us to use points).

We always stayed at the Hyatt the night before and used DCL's bus transfer to Port Canaveral and back to the airport upon on return from the cruise.

All you'll need to do is contact DVC. They will arrange the bus directly with the cruise line (while you're on hold). Airline info will be required if you're flying. All fees for the bus transfer will be charged to your credit card. It just under $100 for the 2 of us.

Good luck and have a great trip!

Amy
