Hi everyone,

Has anyone stayed at the Hyatt House? I'm considering staying there in November but I'm not sure about the walk to the parks, is it long? I've only been to Disneyland once, last year, and I stayed at Howard Johnson's and the Disneyland Hotel. I didn't mind the walk from either of those hotels, so if Hyatt House isn't much longer, that would be great, it just seems kind of far.

Thanks!

It's not a terrible walk. We stayed at Red Lion last year, which is next door but farther south. Red Lion was between 15-20 minutes for us to walk. I'd say subtract two or three minutes for Hyatt House. Mind you, I've never stayed at any of the closer hotels, so I can't judge whether it's seriously onerous.

You may find more information if you use the Search feature. I saw a post just a few days ago regarding Hyatt House. :)

We stayed there and felt the walk was just a tad far. That last walk home at the end of the night was pretty brutal. I think it depends on how many trips you make back to the hotel and how much walking you do at the parks. We were there only one day, so we were on a mission. Plus we went back to the hotel in the middle of the day to change and recharge a bit. Dh really wanted to Uber back, but we powered through. Also, make sure you have the quickest route. We tried what we thought was a shortcut one time and it clearly wasn't. lol

It is closer than the Homewood Suites where we stay and love. We choose to walk to the parks from Homewood (15-20
Mins to the gate) - we aren't mid-day break takers so if you're just coming and leaving once it's totally do able. I'd say 10-15 min to gate

We stayed in July, would say 10-15 mins... Going back next Summer, want to stay closer with the kids, they wouldn't have managed the walk home after hitting 25,000 steps, i barely did!

Hyatt House? My better half stays there when in the area for business and loves it. She walks to DTD every night for dinner and enjoys it.:cool1:
