Husband's Observation

I like to plan also, but I think you can also over plan. I usually pick one or two things, and that's it. I hate the idea that I "have" to be someplace when I'm on vacation :lmao:

Ditto. I think if it were up to me, I would plan every second of the trip. (I have a little too much of my dad in me, I guess. :rolleyes1 ) But my DW would never go for that, so it helps to keep me grounded. We planned enough where I didn't feel like we were just flying blind. But we left enough flexibility where she didn't feel like we were following a schedule (ala National Lampoon's European Vacation). We definitely got the best of both worlds.

Even though I think I might be too be planning down to the second, I realized that it wouldn't even matter to me if we followed the plan or not - I for sure expect lots of deviations since I am planning "blind" - I've never seen WDW so I don't really know what to expect for all my plans (except to expect that it will AWESOME - am almost 100% sure that it will all work out amazingly - even with snags and snafus). I guess it is just the act of planning that is giving me such satisfaction - that and checking the boards to see what is going DOWN in the WORLD :thumbsup2
