husbands haters?

I don't know if it is just me but it seems there is just a small bit of husband(Oh I mean DH) bashing on this site. Ladies if we are so bad why do you bring continually bring us back? &
I also notice that there is next to no DW( remembered that time) bashing by us lazy, no good bums. See we are not that dumb after all.

Maybe its just that some husbands are not as nice as others and maybe some DW are a pain but husbands just dont like to get things of their chest to friends here. Some women feel the need to express themselves verbally to boards such as this rather than burden family members so they can then move on and make room in their busy lives for other things. Its amazing how much kindness and thoughtful words you can receive from people you may never even meet in your lifetime. Its cathartic. Just my own personal opinion!

That doesn't mean he's never annoying - like when you've spent the best part of a year carefully planning your dream WDW holiday (with no input from DH because "I don't want to wish it away"), and you have a great time, but when you get back he moans "we didn't get enough pool time". So it was my fault it rained was it? The days often started cloudy and the sun only came out later - for example, the best day in terms of weather was at KSC, and no way would he have turned round to go back to the pool cos that was the outing he and DS(12) wanted. We also lost parts of 3 days through illness - first me, then DS(6) and then DH. And we did change the plans round to accommodate this.

So when I started planning next year's vacation and DH was moaning about one of the possible properties (even though the first time I showed it to him he really liked it!) I suggested he took over the planning for this one and I would just go along with everything and do the moanng when we got back.

needless to say I'm firmly in the driving seat.

. . . many wives (especially the mouthy ones) don't really LIKE men. They just keep a husband around because all their friends have one! And don't be afraid to use the word "husband" either. It's mostly women that we have to thank for all of this childishly silly "political correctness" (like "dh", how GIRLY) anyway. Call a spade a spade (no offence meant with the word "spade", merely a reference to a useful tool . . . like us men).

I assume you're talking about men and not women!
