Update:
Still in icu, conscious but in indredible pain so she's doped up pretty well and doesn't remember the accident except she keeps telling my MIL that her and Fil's presents are in the car and to please go get them. My mil is going to try and see where the car is today so she can go get them- maybe ease her mind a bit. She has several broken ribs- a collapsed lung which they were able to inflate- a cracked pelvis and they think a broken vertebrae also. The docs are worried about pneumonia. Thanks so much for the well wishes.

Between this thread and another that I've read this morning, I am just so sad about all the awful tragedies that so many are dealing with at this time of year. Such sadness. My heart goes out to everyone dealing with pain and loss.
