Husband spots himself in Wife's Childhood Disney Photo!

It's not the first time something like this has happened. There is a couple on our block, a Filipino lady and her husband who is maybe 15 years older than her and previously married.

She was looking at some pictures from his first honeymoon in Hong Kong and in a picture of them eating at a cafe, saw her cousin at a table in the background. She realized if that was her cousin, then an elbow sticking in from the edge of the frame must be hers. While she was still living in the Phillipines, her family had taken a trip to Hong Kong and eaten in the same restaurant as her future husband.

I know I have posted this on the boards before but my DH and I met in Disney in 8th grade on a back stage tour. We later met up in college and years later got married.

I always thought we were special but maybe not...

Makes you wonder go back and look through all your old photographs and you never know who was in the background. :rotfl2::rotfl2:

I met my husband at a Charlotte's Knight baseball game. He was standing in line with some friends making remarks about the away team, the Toledo Mudhens. I am from Toledo, so I defended my favorite team. He jokingly replied how he was born in Toledo and lived there until his family was transferred to NC when he was 14. I had recently moved to NC, from Virginia.

Long story short....we got married two years later! We found out we had relatives that lived on the same streets or neighborhood. We even share a story about going to opening night for The Empire Strikes Back at the same theater. We may have even been at the same showing.

It's interesting to think our paths probably crossed many times during our childhood.

And I work so hard to get as few people in the background of our Disney photos. Maybe I should wait until there are more people in the background. Who knows? I could be taking pictures of my future son or daughter in-law.

What a great story. It really suprised me to hear that. Its definitly destiny!

WOW! I think I "smell" a LOST sequel.:cloud9:
