Is that like a shotgun wedding?

That's the first thing that popped into my mind as well. (LOL)

pmcpmc -- Your countdown clock indicates you won't be in Orlando for a few more weeks. Hurricane season really should start dying down pretty soon so I think you should be fine w/the wedding plans.

But, as this season is definitely not the norm...it probably wouldn't hurt to call and make sure there would be a location (indoors) where the ceremony/reception could still be held in the case of inclimate weather.

We got married 9 years ago at the Y&BC mid October, and the weather was lovely.

I'm really hoping that this hurricane weather will settle down by then....

But, I would think that whatever the emergency, Disney will do everything in their power to make your stay Magical.

I had a few issues for my wedding, and they bent over backwards and plus some.

The wedding business is a big money maker for Disney, and believe me, they want you and your guest going away happy, so you tell others what a fabulous experience it was!

Hurricane season is until Nov 30 - your guess is as good as anybody's what the weather will be like.

I have heard of Disney moving stuff inside when the weather looked bad.

since WDW have other wedding plans - you might need to call and see that they have to say.

if the place you want is booked for the rest of the year (and yes it does happen) - how will the bride feel about putting it for until next year..... Or changing where it will be at?

I think you better just kept going with your current plans.
