Seems to be scattered info among several threads. We were there last week ourselves at CBR. Seems no matter where you stayed it was much of the same. Thursday night most resort TS restaurants were closed but food courts were open. Guests were stuck eating at whatever their own resort had as there was no transportation. AS's could walk between, POP/AOA could also walk to give a bit more choice. Our food court as well as many others from what I've read were swamped with long lines of over an hour to get something to eat. The $13 box meals were not really needed for us since the food court was open both Thursday and Friday.
Friday at 5pm Disney Springs opened up. Buses from CBR didn't begin until 5:45pm. So we used Uber fearing restaurants would be packed. We were right. Waited in a 30 minute line to check in at Portobello's at 5:15pm. Were told 2 hour wait for table which was fine for us as we weren't really hungry that early. 1 hour later we got a text saying table was ready so off to dinner we went. Guests checking in while we were being seated were being told 3 hour wait.
