We usually get season passes to six flags. We are trying to decide whether to add HH to it. Our DS 5 and DD loved Typhoon Lagoon last summer, we went twice during our vacation, and they wanted to go back. We haven't been to HH, so I am wondering if anyone has been and their opinions. My biggest problem is I have so many issues with Great Adventure (the lack of staff, the lines, the clientele etc...), but the kids like the kiddie rides, and it pays for itself after 2 visits, so we go a few times during the season.
So, give me your opinions on HH.

Thanks!!

Wish I could help you, Joisymom.

We've been wanting to go ever since it opened, but the weather has yet to cooperate when we were able to do it.

We had season passes for Great Adventure a few years ago, and they were worthwhile for the coupons alone.

How does the price of a season's pass at HH compare to the daily admission? I guess if it adds up to at least as many times as you'd likely go, then they'll be worth it.

I loved Hurricane Harbor. In many ways it reminded me of Typhoon Lagoon. I guess that was on purpose, hence the name similarity. My family and I had a great time. We did not combine it with the park. We did the wave pool, basically. And they have one of those kids areas with all kinds of spraying things. And slides and such. Food, shopping (of course).

My sister said it was overpriced. I loved it.

Is the water heated? Also, how crowded was it?

In a word - Dorney Park (or is that two words?)

Well since I haven't been to Dorney Park in about 18 years...that doesn't help much. Plus isn't Dorney an amusement park, and Wild Water Kingdom the water park??

Well passes for GA are 89.99 per person (it keeps gowing up so much!), and for both parks (ok, all 3 if you count the safari, I don't) it is 129.99. Adult tickets are 32.99, and kids are 22.99. So we would have to go twice to HH to make it worth it. Plus parking went up again, it is now 30.00 for the season. So for my family that would be 360.00 plus tax and 30 for parking so approx. 400.00. If we get HH too that would be 520.00 plus tax plus 30 for parking. Youch.... Man if the park was nicer it would be a no brainer... but every year it seems to get worse and worse. The kids like it, but they are young, so they don't realize. Sigh... time to think.
