Hurricane Hanna's

I was thinking about getting a drink and some quick lunch at Hurricane Hanna's before we go to Beaches and Cream for ice cream. But do you have to actually enter the Stormalongbay area in order to get to it? I assume the check resort ID when you enter there and we're staying at Pop, so I was hoping you could get to Hurricane Hanna's from outside the pool complex.

Well, we haven't eatten there for a while. But when we went we weren't IDed.. we weren't even staying onsite. We just walked from Epcot to Hurricane Hannah's to eat.

Last time we were there (March), you could walk up to Hurricane Hanna's from the "Beach side" of the resort. It made it very easy to take an "adult beverage" to the shore for a relaxing sunset. They were not id'ing people who just went to Hurricane Hanna's.

Hurricane Hannah's was right off the main sidewalk - so you can walk up. Be careful of the birds if they like your sandwich. We weren't too excited about the food last year so we will be trying the Boardwalk Bakery this year which is included on the DP with great deserts!

Generally they are checking your ID when you get a towel and give you a bright wrist band, which they check for when you are in the pool. I'm sure they would have no problem with you spending money at HH's. They have some great frozen drinks there btw!

Thanks all for the good news--it was the yummy frozen drinks we were after more than the food!
