Hurricane Hannas at YC????Counter Service Still Good???

Thinking of "taking a break" from HS and heading over to Hurricane Hannas at lunch and using the CS on the DDP.

Is the food still good there? Limited selection as I can remember, but was fine 2 years ago....Any comments on CS for lunch???? How are the salads?

Seems like there is "slim pickings" for CS lunch at HS!!!!

Only 2 names which remotely interest me for CS lunch on DDP at HS is Starring Rolls for sandwiches maybe or Backlot Express????????

Any comments on either Hurricane Hannas at YC, Starring Rolls and Backlot Express for CS lunch at HS??????

It's not worth a special trip. Food is about the same as almost every CS at Disney. The service is slow and seating is very limited outside the pool area. It took 20 min. for us to get our food. Most TS are quicker than that. By the time you take the boat or walk to BC, order, eat and head back to DHS, you'll probably have wasted about 1 1/2 hrs. It's an o.k place if you're staying at the YC/BC and lounging by the pool and feel hungry, but other than that, not destination dining. The CS at DHS have improved over the last year. Starring Rolls is pretty good. Check the menus out on allearsnet.com.

The burgers are not the same as most CS options at WDW. They are the same burgers as those served at Beaches & Cream. They also have a good grilled chicken wrap. The dessert choices were very limited - a Mickey ice cream bar or frozen lemonade. I wouldn't plan a special trip just to eat. However, if you are wanting a break from the parks for awhile, the boat ride to BC is very relaxing. The atmosphere around Stormalong Bay is as well.
