Have never eaten here. We'll be staying at BWV, and looking for a quick easy lunch. How's the food? How big are the entrees? Shareable? Besides the bar, is there any covered seating? Thanks for any info that you all provide.

The food is pretty standard fare - burgers and fries- with kids entrees served in a pail with a shovel for use at the sand-bottom pool. We're a couple of years removed from staying at the Beach Club, but Hurricane Hanna's was a good option during pool days, and even a time or two to take back up to the room. We never found the portions sufficient to share between my wife and me.

There's a handful of tables with umbrellas above them, plus some trees, so it's relatively shady there but without protection from rain. Since there's not a ton of seating, have someone hold down a table while others are in line. There are chairs at the bar, but that's separate from where the food service is.

I'd suspect there are other, better options on your side of the boardwalk, but if you're looking for something different after exhausting those options, HH could work in a pinch. If there's seating available, Beaches and Cream, while slightly more expensive, may be a more enjoyable option.

We think that Crews Cup Lounge at Yacht Club is a better option that Hurricane Hanna's. Limited menu but some pretty good stuff. Not on dining plan though.

For CS meal on DDP, isn't the Beachclub marketplace an option also? For those of us that like salad options, thought I read something here over the years about freshly made salad options? :confused3 TIA! :wave2:

If you do eat at Hurricane Hannah's and you're looking for an adult beverage, ask for the Sunken Treasure. It's not on the menu anymore, but most of the bartenders know how to make it. It's coconut rum, pineapple and orange juice, midori, blue curacao, and a touch of sprite to make it fizzy. Very good!

Hurricane Hannah's is very standard... nice atmosphere being there at Stormalong Bay, but limited space (and of course you can't go into the pool area without a wristband). If you are looking specifically for CS, definitely try the Boardwalk Bakery or Beach Club Marketplace. If you can use a table service credit or pay OOP, you could always do Beaches N' Cream :)
