Hurrican Francis

I am suppose to be flying out from Buffalo, NY to Disney on Fri until tues. Sounds like the hurrican will be heading towards Orlando-does anyone know what happens if I have to cancel because of it with respect to my points? thanks Val S.

I called MS today to inquire about the possibility of Frances interferring with our vacation. We fly into Orlando this Sunday and begin a 7-night stay at BCV on Monday. All the CM I talked to would say is that Disney would have a "hurricane policy" if Frances affected their operations.

They told me there is a 5-stage hurricane prep, and they haven't even started stage 1, so until then all policies stand. This was yesterday morning, so I'm not sure if they've started that process yet. They told me Thursday would be a good time to check with them. This thing is moving faster so maybe later today, depending on how the forecasts go, would be a good time to call.

Last map I saw shows Francis coming in near Vero Beach, sometime between Friday night and early Saturday Morning. anyone know what Disney is doing down in Vero? Keeping them in my thoughts! Good luck folks!
