As a PP pointed out...it is quite abnormal for a normal name in Hollywood. I read the name and thought 'wow, what a nice name'. I think it has been years since I thought about a Hollywood name like that, lol.

I am an elementary school teacher and the first thing I thought of when heard Ellen Pompeo's daughter's name is that she named her after a fruit bat!! There is a delightful children's book about a fruit bat who temporarily loses her mother called, "Stella Luna" by Janelle Cannon. The book is adorable and one of my favorites, but anyone who knows kids lit can not help but think of it right away!

It kind of reminds me when J-Lo named her twins Max and Emme - the names of the kids on Dragon Tales...
