I read a magazine article this week about a dietitian's weight loss advice. One of the points she makes is "Watch Out for Super Hungry Days". She says to pay special attention when your appetite changes. Often, when dieting, the scale won't show any weight loss for several days, and during that time, regular meals seem to satisfy your hunger. Suddenly, one day you are ravenous (and possibly feeling discouraged because the scale hasn't budged in a few days), so you might feel tempted to overeat. Pay special attention to those super hungry days because these are the "payoff" days (the days that your body is working hard to release the extra weight). So, just eat normal regular meals that day, don't give in to your ravenous appetite, and you should see a drop in weight the next time you go on the scale. It worked for me this week!
