Hungry Bear restaurant hours?

Hi,

I am planning a trip for my family to DL and I'm wondering if anyone reading this might know if the Hungry Bear restaurant will be open for lunch on weekdays in January. It's my family's favorite place for a quick lunch, and if it's only open on weekends during the off-season, I'd like to use that info to help in planning the dates of our trip.

I am pretty sure Hungry Bear is only open on weekends during off season. When we were there the second week of December it was closed except for Saturday and Sunday. You might want to call the main number of Disneyland and ask for sure though. I am with you, we love that place. Great to go and eat lunch while you wait for that Splash Mountain fastpass to come up!

Thank you, Amy and/or Dan! I had a feeling it might not be open on the weekdays, but I'll take your advice and call Disneyland to find out for sure what January's schedule is. We might have to plan a Saturday into our trip, we just love our lunch breaks downstairs by the water at Hungry Bear.

I have never eaten there. What do they have on their menu?

Mostly hamburgers but I think they also have some chicken sandwiches and maybe a salad or two. The burgers are tasty but the main attraction is sitting right on the water watching the canoes, riverboat and sailing ship go by. They have two levels so you are either right at water level or up above. Its a great place to have a relaxing lunch and its always nice and cool when its hot outside!

The bottom level is nice, especially on hot days since it's covered. That used to be my daughter's fave place. She used to love eating there, and half of her fries & bread went to the ducks.
