Humbly announcing I'm grabbing a new clippie...

Clippie, clippy, I can never decide how to spell it!

Anyway, I've held steady around 131/130 for nearly 3 weeks now. For those of you who have been following my progress you'll remember I didn't really know what my goal was....more that I was waiting to see what God's goal for me was. Since I've held pretty steady, I'm guessing God's goal for me is right around 130/131.

I weighed in today b/c my weigh ins for the Weigh Down Workshop board fall on Thursdays. So today I stepped on and low and behold the scale was at 130!!

This may be a plateau and I may drop further, we'll see. God knows. I'll trust His judgement!!!

I need to give all of the credit to God, but I will admit, having you guys here for support really helped. Plus I've learned a lot about various things (Curves, WATP, etc) that I didn't know about. Also, by watching your successes and struggles I've learned a lot about myself and what makes *ME* tick.

Thanks a lot!!! I'll be staying here because I can pass on the encouragement that I've received and because you're a great group of people!

I was reading on a New Age site about the Weigh Down program and someone was saying how they do something similar - except they ask themselves "Will I feel good after I eat this or will I feel guilty?" So if they can eat something (and stop when they are full) and feel GOOD about it, they do so. And if the answer they get is that they will feel guilty about it, they don't eat it. So for this person it helped them discover how their relationship with food was and how food doesn't have to be a big deal anymore. So basically they are following their inner guidance (which you could call guidance from God if you wanted).

Woo-hoo for you! I'm so glad you reached your goal!!!
