HUMANE way to get rid of MICE???

We used the Mouse Cube, too. The first time we made the mistake of not releasing the mouse far enough away, though. He came back in and next time we took him into the woods behind the house. He had a hard time finding his way into the plastic door at first, too. We had to prop it up with a sliver of cracker. (Inside the trap we used peanut butter.) He was brave, too. We could sit a few feet away and watch him go into the trap. :earboy2:

DH woke me up last night swearing he saw a mouse :earseek: scamper across our kitchen floor. Personally, I think he had way too much sausage dip, fritos, brownies, and sodas during the bowl games yesterday. :goodvibes
I got up and looked around and didn't see anything. This morning I cleaned the floors, cupards, etc. Even checked out the bags of dog food in the laundry room and did not see any sign of a mouse ::MickeyMo . My mission today is to "get rid of the mouse" per my DH. Growing up we had a problem with mice; mom bought a devise that she plugged into an outlet. I believe it kept the mice away by sound waves. Anyone know where I can get one or if they have a better idea? We have 2 dogs also and will not use poison or traps.

TIA!!

if you have dogs-check out my thread "the mutt, the mouse and the mil"- :)

Same thing happened to us the first time -- the mouse found its way back to our house within a day and we caught it again.

BTW, I didn't use the things because it's humane -- I used it because I preferred catching them alive rather than finding dead mouse carcasses. :teeth:

We have also used the mouse cube. It's works really well. Just make sure you remember to check it everyday. My in-laws used it and their daughter forgot to release it the next day. It's a good thing they put a lot of "bait food" in there. ;)

i agree with the fact that your dog would be going bonkers and you would find mice droppings...and those mice would be in the dog food...i think your hubby needs to cut down on the food intake..and may i ask what was in those brownies he ate... :rotfl:
Unfortunatly this is not true of my dog . Just this morning my dd and I saw our first mouse in our home it ran right behind the dog and under the basement door and he did not move. Now this is a dog that normally barks at everything.
I will add when my dd first spotted it it had ran under the computer table and the dog did come sniffing around but when it decided to make a break for the basement the dog did not even notice. I must say the are fast little runners.
