My teenage kids are telling me that the Hulk Rollercoaster is comparable to Rock-n-Rollercoaster. I think they are telling me this because I am a chicken when it comes to things like this, and they just want me to ride it. I can handle Rock n rollercoaster, but I'm not sure about the Hulk.

What is your opinion?

If your a coaster chicken then your kids should know once you look at it they prob stand no chance getting you on it lol. But yes its pretty comparable in the launch is nearly the same. Its outside and I believe may have a loop or 2 more. If you can handle RnR then you honestly should be able to handle mostly anything. If you can loop once then you can loop more.

I have not been there for a few years but from what I remember the Hulk being about the same caliber as rock n roller coaster if not a little easier to do. But like I said it has been a long time and things may have changed. But I think if you can do rock n roller coaster you should have no problem with the Hulk.

I think they are comparable. RnRC might seem tamer at first, but I think that is only b/c you cannot see it the way you can see the huge, impressive hunk of green steel that is Hulk.

The Hulk launch is definately comparable to RnRC but the thing is - you can actually see where you're going on the Hulk (if you keep your eyes open! :rotfl2: ).

Maybe I'm in the minority here but I think Hulk is more intense than RnR...the launch alone with the inversion as you hit the top is a lot more intense. Plus, Hulk turns you every which way it can. I like RnR but I don't think it's as intense...JMHO.

Nah your not alone...Imo hulk is definately more intense.

I think Hulk is more intense because you can see what is coming but I think RnRRC take off is more so just because you go into the dark. I think depending on what freaks you out the most is what makes either of them scarier.

Like me, I find seeing where I am going safer than being hurled in the dark and not going what is going to happen. So its really just personal on what is more exiting but as far as over all ride I love them both.

For me Hulk is to RnR like MIB is to Buzz Lightyear.

Hands down Hulk is far more intense than RnR.:cool1:

I find the Hulk to be a lot smoother than RnR. I prefer it.

The Hulk is very scary just looking at it.I rarely ride it (coaster chicken here)but when I need my coaster fix I start with DD Ice then Fire. After that the Hulk is great!!Try it at night..:thumbsup2

RnR is a darkride which I do better on..But nowhere intense as the Hulk!!

Here are a few interesting pictures for you. The first one is of an outdoor coaster identical to RnR.

Yup thats prob cuz its inside so its less room to work with. Now I am all excited to ride the hulk and I still have a month till vacation. Thanks for those photos. :)

Yup...B & M coasters are usually very smooth. I can't wait to try Manta!

I'm not fussy on flyers. Tatsu at Magic Mountain is a B&M flyer and after riding it once, it is something I wouldn't care to ride on a regular basis. We have a brand new B&M hyper here in Toronto and it is fantastic.

Hulk has 7 inversions where RnR has 3.
Hulk goes 0 − 40 mph in 2.0 seconds. RnR goes 0 − 57 mph in 2.8 seconds
Hulk has a max g force of 4. RnR has a max g force of 3.
