Hey, AmberDaze, I saw you in there (but i did not want to say, "hey, I recognize you from the Dis!" in front of Host Hula) - that is me sitting near the candy cauldron in the pink princess ears. I did think some interesting things were said in there. I asked Hula why fireworks is scored the way it is - she gave me an explanation, but said that it did not really make too much sense to her either. She said that the more people who write in, the more likely it is to be changed - so write!

Also, I asked if any of the mystery items will be costumes. She said you never know - which I think means yes. For the record, I'm thinking tomorrow night's quest prize will be the large Trick-or-treat bag/penny press. Good luck, everyone!

I'm thinking someone either did a lot of trading or used mules to go to the host game a lot last night. I only have two, one from last night, one from tonight.

I never could get back in line last night.. so... my experience was

lucky to get in line pretty early - froze entirely at 48....got a black screen as I hit cancel after being stuck for 20 minutes....Got in line after trying for about 1/2 hour - DISCONNECTED at 46th in line..yes it does still happen....Got in line - again LUCKY on my 2nd try or so...got down to 17 and our power goes out..then couldn't get in line anymore.

I'd ask people who get more than 3 or 4 host pins to please give other people a chance - I mean I know you can trade them but part of people's joy is to get in and say hello to the host and see the room. BUT...I don't even know if it will make a difference anyways..there are just SO many people and not enough space.

I was thinking the same thing about people giving others a chance, naturally since I'm one of the people who has been completely shut out so far. Then again, if I put myself in someone else's shoes I guess I could see the temptation of going to every event I could get into to get pins, prizes, etc, even if I had already got in before.

I think it would be better if there was some way for vmk to moderate how many times you were allowed to go into a host room if so many others are getting shut out. Or, like I said before, if they could open one more room at the same time or offer the same event at a completely different time of the day that may help out tremendously.

Maybe now that dc is gone they will start considering solutions to this because it definitely isn't fair for some to get in multiple times and yet one person to try and try for the entire two hours to no avail.

I totally agree. Last month and this month after trying and trying I was able to get both host pins. Now unless there's another prize offered I will be staying out of line to let others in. I'm happy with my one. I know the frustration of hitting enter room a bazillion times and never getting in. Until we got this second computer I was never even able to get in a host room. I still wish they had an event thrown in once a week or maybe twice a month during the day when there are a lot less people on. But as I have said before that's a price we pay for playing a game geared tword the kiddos.

Unless it's an easy game to get into (like the teleporter ones where the line is constantly moving) I always try to get out of the way and let other people go once I have one for myself and one for trading later on. So I'm going to stay out of the ones that offer only Ghost pins for now, at least until the end of the month when everyone has gotten theirs anyway.

Though really, though I don't know how easy it is for them to enforce, I don't think any one character is allowed in the same host game again if they've already won something. I've seen Phinny kicking repeat visitors out a few different times, and maybe other hosts as well. Using a mule would be selfish though.
