Thanks ya'll,the support is sooo appreciated. It's so great to know that I can turn to my friends on the DIS.
My DD and I had a long talk last night about the situation. After our talk,she decided if kids tell her her how much fun the party was she'll tell them how happy she is they enjoyed it.This beauty of mine is a confident child and very sure of herself. My heart was bursting with pride.
Now,if I can hold myself together the way she can. I really cannot say anything about my DD's hurt feelings because the pirannah will tease her. What would you say is the reason for not taking her to tutoring any more? I have a feeling the mom will ask why.

Personally, if I could make it work I would just say it wasn't working out for you to drive her anymore. Make up an excuse if you need too... your DD needs to go someplace else on MWF in the other direction, or whatever. I also wouldn't do it right away this week, sounds like the Niece would be the type to make fun of DD and spread it around that you stopped giving her a ride just because your DD wasn't invited to her party. The Mom doesn't sound like she'd be much help either way and is petty and taking advantage of you.

Whew! I did it.I called my older niece to say that I'm not able to bring her daughter to tutoring anymore. My DD is on a competition cheer team and with a competition coming up,there are more practices. So,I used the erratic schedule as an excuse.
Can you believe she asked if I could still pick up younger niece if DD didn't have practice-WTH-and still no acknowledgement of last night's party. Anyway,I said no because I wouldn't want to inconvience her if DD had a last minute practice.
This woman must have sniffed too much wallpaper paste.
