did you know that he was on an episode of friends, i just watched it on youtube. It somehow popped up when i did a search for SNL.

I don't watch House, but I watched Conan O'Brien recently and Michelle Trachtenberg was on there promoting Black Christmas. She mentioned she told her agent that she was such a huge fan of House and Hugh Laurie that he had to get her on the show somehow. So her role was a young woman who had a tick, um, down there. She said that there was a scene which called for her to have her legs in stirrups and when she did that scene with Hugh Laurie she put her note between her legs that said "I (heart) you!" so he would see it when he opened her legs. She said he never missed a beat and continued on with the scene.

So apparently Hugh Laurie appeals to all ages! I thought that was so funny.

He is very sweet! He was on Ellen and he was too cute! His family isn't here with him because the kids are in school and all, so he is here alone while he is working. Maybe one of us can keep him company LOL!

Count me in! Black Adder is one of my favorite ever shows, and it's so nice to see him every week on House.

I get to frequently watch him on our Stuart Little dvd's. It's so funny to see him as the sweet dad as compared to his role on House.

I also thought he had one of the best cameos on Friends as Rachel's flight mate when she flew to London. He was hilarious.

I first saw him in the Jeeves and Wooster BBC shows when he played Bertie Wooster perfectly. He's just hysterical! Seeing him in House for the first time was a bit of a shock, because House is the exact opposite character from Bertie Wooster.

But yes, count me in as a big Hugh Laurie fan!

Love me some Hugh Laurie! I can't imagine anyone else being able to make House a likeable character, but in spite of the character's prickliness, you can't help but like him and in many ways, sympathize with him in spite of his demeanor. He's an amazing actor! And yeah...those blue eyes don't hurt one little bit. ;-)

Count me in, too! I think he does the best American accent of any British actor I've ever seen. He was in Sense & Sensibility, too (he played the husband of Charlotte, can't think of his name but his character had a very dry wit).
