Being the Original "author", I was a little "hurt, miffed, confused"
but, I got over it as we were WELCOMED
with open arms by ALL on the CB......


and the rest became DIS history!


But, let us NOT forget the SD Cheerleader thread "mentor",
the man who started it all, in all his humble ways....

WOW!!!! Two years and here we are still going strong!!!!

Thanks CC!!! You did us all a great favor!!!

Cheerleaders....You know that I love you all!!! We have all stayed close and for that I am thankful!!!!

It is funny how we all became a part of each other's lives...I think about you all at least once a day and wonder what I ever did without you all!!!!

You guys have seen me through some rough times with illnesses, etc. and through the some of the happiest moments with my marriage this past year to George!!!

It seems that no matter what I am doing, you guys are always in my thoughts...

SSB - I don't think that there are words to describe how I feel about you. You are a great person and I feel blessed to have been fortunate enough to have had the pleasure to meet you. George and I think that it is a gift that we have you as a friend.

Well, I feel myself about "release my emotions" (the words of our own Alison ) so I must go.

But seriously, you guys are wonderful and my life is enriched by the pleasure of knowing you all.

Has it been that long??? Wasn't the first meet already being talked about and kinda loosely planned when we were moved? I remember when Mom (Poohlovr), BT, and co. formed the cheerleaders! I think I started posting occasionally just before the big move and became much more interested and active a couple of weeks later after returning from the world and meeting our very own Cookie for the first time. (Not to mention staying at the incomparable Swan for the first time!!!)
I love all the cheerleaders and am honored to be part of this group.
So, ya'll ready to get to work on meet 3???

WOW!! Has it been that long? And we're still here !!

I'll never forget how you guys got me to get my family on a plane to WDW just 3 weeks after returning from a 2 week family WDW vacation That has got to be the most rediculous thing I have ever done But ask me if I regret it.....NO WAY!! I had the time of my life and and I don't care how crazy it was all worth it!!
And from it I have some of the greatest friends anyone could have.
And like Teri, I think of you guys all the time....when I'm experiencing something happy, I think of you and wish you were here to share it and when I'm going thru something sad, I want to share that too.
And then there's SSB, one of the greatest people I have ever met who takes all our hair jokes and foot jokes and all our other SSB bashing and still likes us anyway if it weren't for you SSB ....we wouldn't even be

well, i guess you could call me an "honorary" cheerleader...i've never met y'all before and i've never ever (gasp) stayed at the swan or the dolphin, but you've welcomed me here into your little circle. you are a great group of people and i look forward to someday meeting everyone in person...and even staying at the swan! lol...

Chiming in to thank CC for moving the thread....had it not been on the CB I wouldn't have become a part of the great cheerleader meet in July!! Memories there of great people and wonderful times I will cherish forever...including making the Dolphin my 'new' favorite resort.. .a place I was previously resisting staying at, imagne that!

Glad you didn't hold it against me for moving it. It was not a Resort Board topic anymore and you guys are still going strong here!!

After staying at the Swan in one of the newly renovated rooms last week, I may have to become a charter member of the cheerleaders, those beds are UNBELIEVABLE!!

Debbie- and we never did get to see 'em in those speedos, did we? 'Oh well, was a wonderful, very memorable meet even w/out the speedos. Remember the wonderful reception at the Dolphin? And nobody could forget e-night! (Getting in trouble on Splash Mountain!) The whole weekend was great and I'm glad I was "crazy" enogh to go to WDW to hang out w/ abunch of people I'd never met in person!
