HUGE Dilemma-What to do??

Okay, I just don't know what to do. I have reservations for June 13-23 in a preferred site for our first trip with the popup at the Fort. I have been SO looking forward to this as it will be my first trip camping at FTW in over 20 years. We have asked my daughter's best friend to go with us. Fast forward to last night at dance. (My girls are competitive cloggers.) The instructor says that there has been a change in schedule. Instead of going to Gatlinburg in May to dance, we will be going to Myrtle Beach in June. This totally messes up the plans. The competition is June 17-18! If my girls don't go then the team can't go because of numbers. My choices are to leave it like it is and the team will have to go with the original plans of Gatlinburg in May or change the Disney reservation to the end of May and go to Myrtle Beach in June. If I change plans, my daughter's friend can't go to Disney because of other plans. So, she will have to settle for the beach and not Disney. I hate being put in this position. What would you do?

I personally would not change my plans. You were given dates by the intructor and you planned your time with your family around that time. I would not expect and team that I coached to change their personal plans because dates had changed.

Well, I have come up with one more option. I could talk to my daughter's friend's parents if she would be able to come if we backed the trip up by a week. Then, we could take her with us to Disney June 21-30 and still make it to competition the weekend earlier. I am leaning toward moving the trip to the end of June or not moving it at all. I don't think it is fair to my daughter's friend to have to give up Disney for a dance competition she won't even be participating in.
