..I've noticed that around these boards that we haven't been having much luck with pets lately. Over the past 3 months, 2 of my fish went "Missing", plus you all know about Clucky yesterday. Not forgetting Sue's pet Spike going missing not that long ago, and as well as Soph almost losing her little Cat Rooney today.
My American Friends across the pond, but not that far across the boards, also seem to be having similar problems with Pets. Why, the other day, one of my friends had to go into hospital as her Dog had poisioning. We on that board were all hoping that her dog would pull through.
To save you a long story, if her dog didn't pee by 5, it would be have to be put down. OK, I admit it does sound a bit weird but you have to imagine the look on all of our faces to hear that her dog had peed. We were all so happy that her dog had made it, and I bet that she was happy too as well. I bet now she is hugging her little doggy extra tight from now on..
Just remember though, we aren't all that lucky.. So.. Remember to hug your pets extra tight tonight, and hopefully we can get through this rough patch that we all seem to be going through. I'd hug my pets except that A) You can't hug Fish and B) My chickens would most likely fly away if I came near them to hug them!! They have done that once before to me and I had to go wake my parents up at 7.00AM to go and catch her..
I can still send them virtual hugs though..
