Hub Construction and early ADR?

We are going in a few weeks and for the first time we booked a pre park opening ADR at Crystal Palace. Now I'm thinking with all the hub construction (& likely chilly morning weather) we may just cancel it. My kids are 5, we are staying right at BLT and we go at least 2 times a year.

If you were me, would you wait? We've never experienced a fairly empty Main Street ( or even a rope drop).

PS I'm not "mad" about the construction. I'm not letting it "ruin our trip" and I'm sure we can squeeze a few castle pics in from new angles!

I would skip it and plan to do it during a future trip since you're there fairly often. The newest set of walls, plus the covering of the partners statue, gives you some limited options for photos. So, if that's your primary reason for getting up - just wait for a better opportunity!

That's kind of what I was thinking! We would be rushing to get the kids up and dressed and ready and that's not even the park we are going to for the day. We were just popping in for breakfast there anyway!
