HS to Kouzzina?

We have an 8pm reservation at Kouzzina. We will be in HS that day, and are hoping to catch the last American Idol show at 7pm, before going to Kouzzina. I think I read that the show is 30 minutes. Can anyone confirm that? Anyway, we will have a car. Would it make sense to just walk to the restaurant and walk back to pick up the car after dinner? The other option is to drive to the Boardwalk. I should also mention that HS closes at 7pm that night. Would we even be allowed to get back to our car if we left it there about 9-9:30pm? TIA

You can walk or take a boat from the Studios to the Boardwalk. We find that walking is quicker than the boat. If you leave your car parked at the Studios you shouldn't have a problem since the walking path actually ends before the entrance to the park and you are at the parking lot. You should also be able to park at the BW. You would have to stop at the gate and tell the guard that you have a reservation and they may give you a pass for 3 hours. If you valet park you won't have a problem either but you would have to pay for that.

The last show is only 30 mins??? That would surprise me. The shows during the day are about that, and they have only 3 singers. That last show has about 6 or 7. But, if the show did get out at 7:30, it would take you about 5-8 mins to get to the front of the park, then it's about a 15 min walk to BW. Taking the boat will be slow...it takes at least 20 mins to get to BW from DHS on the boat. But you could get off at the S/D and walk over to BW...that would cut off some time.
But if that show ends later than 7:30 or so, you may not make it to BW before 8:00. Can you move your ADR up any?
