HS to Boardwalk ADR, enough time ?

I've just booked Kouzzina for 5pm (would'nt let me book earlier)

We are going to be in HS that day from about noon & want to line up for Fantasmic (it's at 8pm that night).
Will I have enough time to make it to Kouzzina & back in time for Fantasmic or should I just cancel it ??

IMHO:
Your meal, if it starts right at 5:00 p.m., won't get you out of there til 6-6:15 at very best. Then you have to get back to HS, which you could walk in 20 minutes, or boat in about the same time if you were lucky. So, in that scenario, you won't be able to line up for Fantasmic before 6:30 at best. That's my guess at your dining time commitment. Not sure how early you want to get to the line.

FYI - when pressed for time, I find it best to let the server know that fact right when you sit down. That way, they know they aren't rushing you along, and that you have a schedule you are trying to keep.

not sure what to do, I will have DD5 with me so I can not rush as I would if I'd be alone...

I planned to line up 2h prior to Fantasmic as I know it's a mess since they don't show it as often, maybe they'll add another show, I heard they sometimes do, then it would give us time to eat & stroll the Boardwalk leisurely (cause I know DD would want to see the games & such), I'll wait to cancel in case they add another show but if not I guess I won't be able to try Kouzzina

We've done it from the Boardwalk restaurants with reservations as late as 5:30. And we've done it at Flying Fish, a more leisurely meal. But we've caught a cab from BWV to DHS to get there on time, and didn't get great seats and this was back when Fantasmic was nightly and there was no early lineup. I wouldn't do it if Fantasmic is your priority - if Fantasmic is your priority, do counter service at DHS before lining up.

Ok, now I'm nervous!!
We have a 4:20 PM fantasmic dinner @ Brown derby.....will that give us enough time to line up and hopefully get a decent seat??
