HS plans

Ok so This is what I currently have set up for our HS day...it is JAM PACKED! We want to get started early. Is getting there by 830 early enough? Do you see any huge issues?

1) Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith (child swap)
2) The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror (FastPass+ 925-1025)
3) Voyage of the Little Mermaid (1035 show)
4) Hollywood & Vine (ADR @ 1105)
5) Star Tours: The Adventures Continue (FastPass+ 1205-105)
6) For the First Time In Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration (1235 show)
7) Muppet*Vision 3D
8) Honey, I Shrunk the Kids Movie Set Adventure
9) Toy Story Midway Mania!(FastPass+ 120-220)
10) Disney Junior - Live on Stage! (310 show)
11) Animation Academy-Character meet/Greet
12) The Great Movie Ride

8:30 is fine for rope dropping RnRC. Do you plan on doing ToT or RnRC multiple times? If you rope drop both of these, you will likely be done with both before 9:25. You could use the ToT FP to ride it again, and then do GMR or Animation before Little Mermaid, because no way can you do both GMR and Animation between Disney Jr and LMA.

We have 11:00 ADR at H&V in January, and plan on trying to make 12:35 Frozen show. We like more than an hour to meet the characters and eat, and then get to Frozen a little early to make sure to get a seat. Depending on how long lunch takes, you might want to move your Star Tours FP in between LMA and BB shows.

The rest looks doable. Take advantage of the morning. If you don't do ToT twice, you can fit even more in before Little Mermaid show.

How old is the child? Just a word of advice....unless your kid is the most obedient child ever, plan more time than you think at that honey I shrunk the kids playground. It is HARD to get a small child back out of there! Lol

...no way can you do both GMR and Animation between Disney Jr and LMA.

I agree this will be virtually impossible. Depending on the lines, you might have difficulty doing even one of them between the two shows (especially knowing you'll need to walk all the way back to LMA....not a huge distance, but a pretty solid ten minute walk in a theme park). The lines for each of the Animation meet-and-greets and GMR can be anywhere from 10 to 30 minutes each (maybe more for GMR depending on the day/weather/etc.), not counting the time of the experience/ride itself.

Also, most people will already be in a seat for Fantasmic at 5:30. Trying to sneak in after a 5:30 Beauty & the Beast could be very difficult, if not impossible. With that said, the B&TB show is one of the best things at DHS. From my family's perspective, it blows the Little Mermaid out of the water, so if there is a 10:30 B&TB, I would be tempted to make that a priority and then try to fit in the Little Mermaid later if it turns out you have time to spare. Either way, finishing with Fantasmic and Osborne will be a great way to end the day.

All in all, I think your list proves that there is still plenty to enjoy at DHS and that it can actually be difficult to squeeze it all into one day. I love the park, as do my kids....my wife is not a fan, but I am hoping that the next few years of extensive work on that park will change her mind.
