HS or AK on a Saturday afternoon in mid June?

We are driving into Disney late morning on a June Saturday. Staying at CSR and 7 pm dinner ressies at Ohana to celebrate 3 birthdays. I know my bunch is going to be itching to go to a park when we arrive. No MK because we are already going there 2 full days. No Epcot because the fam's least favorite so one and done. Which would you suggest for a few hours on Sat and would you go straight from the park to Ohana? Making FP+60 reservations soon and want to try to get a few on Sat.

I asked a similar question a few weeks ago. My question was Epcot or AK on Saturday. Most said Animal Kingdom. Saturdays are AK morning extra magic hours so I'm not sure.

You could probably get more done at AK as opposed to HS. AK is the furthest away though in terms of distance, but HS has a lot of construction and changes going on. Personally I would say AK.

If it were me I would go to HS. My reason is because I like AK more and need more time there. We usually can do HS in half a day so since you won't have much time HS may be a better choice unless you want to do all the shows.
Since it will probably be hot out you would probably want to go to the resort to shower or freshen up before ohana

This is a good point; right now there just isn't a lot at HS, so it would be easier to spend part of a day there and say you did all that you wanted to do.

As for the EMH at AK, the only real difference is that the Avatar rides will have a large wait time right out of the gate and won't dissipate throughout the day. I don't think all of the other attractions will have abnormally different waits. Since you wouldn't be there at RD anyways, you're already going to have to wait for rides.

Since you're missing Rope Drop AND it's a busy Saturday, I would consider spending that short amount of time in the World Showcase at EPCOT. Less focus on rides (since you won't have the top tier fast passes), and just enjoy the snacking and environment.

Actually this was my original plan but my teenagers aren't interested. I am still working on them though!

I think that is a good idea except it is brutally hot walking around World Showcase in the afternoon. Well it is brutally hot every where in the afternoon in June :confused3
