I'm planning to go to HS on Christmas Day with our extended family group, which includes us and our 3 teens, my sister and her 2 young kids and my mom. DH and I and our 3 kids have been many times, and also at Christmas, but never to HS on Christmas. Any tips - how does this park handle large crowds?
We don't have a lot of must-do's at HS, the kids don't like ToT or RnRC, it will really just be TSMM and some of the shows, and of course the Osbourne Lights and Fantasmic. We do have the Fantasmic dinner package booked, with lunch at 1:40. My initial plan is to arrive late (like around noon or maybe even later
) with FP+ for TSMM right off the bat, then our lunch ressie for 1:40, followed by some other FP+ selections and shows after lunch, then Fantasmic at 6:30, Osbourne lights while the second Fantasmic is on, and stay late with the big kids to close out the park and hopefully ride TSMM, while the little kids go back to the resort. However, I was wondering if it makes more sense to have no FP+ until after our lunch in case we are later arriving than I think. Would that be enough time to use all FP (between about 3:00 and 6:00?)? Thanks for any advice (other than being crazy for choosing to arrive mid-day lol)
