HS on 5/1

We made dining reservations and plans to go to HS on 5/1. I just heard that it is the 25th anniversary of HS opening on 5/1. Our only other option would to be to go to MK that day which is the least recommended park and has EMH in the morning. WWYD? Stick with original plan and go to HS or switch to MK?

I would stick with your plan.
There may or may not be a special recognition of the Anniversary. If there is, I think it would be cool to be there.
You will know more as you get closer and you can reevaluate at that time.

They just had Animal Kingdom's 10 year anniversary and they hardly made a to do out of it! I wouldn't worry.

We were at Animal Kingdom on this day (I believe it was 15 years). We got a free button commemorating the anniversary and the only real "out of the ordinary crowded" places were the lines for the special merchandise. The lines were super long, but we didn't want any of the stuff, so it didn't matter to us. They didn't do anything else special.

I would stick with your plans.
